Mission Statement
The Office of Public Information and Communication is the information hub for the City of Deltona, Deltona City Commission, city administration and its departments. Our mission is to enhance the relationship between City government, its citizens and the media through public relations and media relations.
As the liaison for the media, the Office of Public Information and Communication is responsible for addressing questions or inquiries regarding day-to-day and emergency city activities. In addition to producing news releases, newsletters, informational marketing campaigns, the City’s web presence, programming for DeltonaTV (the City’s government access cable channel), education outreach is a vital function of this office.
