The Youth Advisory Sub-Committee was created by the City Commission on February 6, 2006.
This sub-committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at Deltona City Hall, Commission Chamber's Kitchen, 2345 Providence Boulevard.
MEMBERSHIP:
This sub-committee shall consist of between 10-12 members who reside within the city limits of the City of Deltona.
TERM OF OFFICE:
Individuals appointed to this sub-committee shall serve an unlimited number of terms as approved by the Parks & Recreation Director, provided they have not exceeded the maximum age limit of 20 years old.
OFFICERS:
The Chairperson for this sub-committee serves on the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee and is nominated by the members of that Committee. The members of this sub-committee shall elect a Vice Chair. The members serve in those positions for a period of one (1) year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This advisory sub-committee shall serve in an advisory capacity to make recommendations to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee regarding suggestions and ideas related to park and recreation projects, programs or activities.
