Water Rates A Water Usage and Base Charge are assessed on a monthly basis. The Water Usage Charge is based on the amount of water consumed in the billing period. The Base Charge is an availability charge based on the size of your meter. When service is discontinued the deposit is then applied to the Final Bill. If a credit should remain, a refund check is produced and mailed to the forwarding address provided. Back to Index Sample Bill & Bill Explanation  Bill ExplanationPlease be sure to include your customer number on all payments/correspondence. Your meter is read on a monthly basis. You are being billed for usage used between your previous and present read dates. These dates indicate your billing period. Read codes indicate what type of present reading was obtained to calculate your billed usage. There are several types of read codes. A - Actual Read; this code indicates that our meter reader physically obtained a reading from your meter for billing purposes.
E – Estimated Read; this code indicates that due to extenuating circumstances we were unable to obtain a physical read from your meter. In this case your average consumption is used to calculate an estimated read for billing purposes.
F – Final Read; this code indicates that our field technician physically obtained a final reading to discontinue your service with us at your request. This will be the last or final bill you receive for this account.
If you have signed up for Automatic Bill Pay, a message will appear here on your bill to notify you of the date funds will be drafted from your account. This area is used to correspond to you special notifications. Please pay your current charges by the date indicated. **Note: Any unpaid previous bill balance is subject to immediate disconnect.
