Commissioner Zenaida Denizac was elected to the Deltona City Commission, District 1, on November 8, 2005. She was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. Commissioner Denizac and her family moved to Deltona in 1986.

Commissioner Denizac received her Masters' Degree in Educational Leadership from Nova University and her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Antillian College.

Currently, Commissioner Denizac is a teacher at Pine Ridge High School.
