What are the county maintained roads in the city and who maintains them?

The streets maintained by the County of Volusia are: Doyle Rd, Enterprise Rd, Enterprise Osteen Rd, Howland Blvd, Lake Helen Osteen Rd, Lake Shore Dr, Saxon Blvd. Any questions or concerns involving these roads or right of ways should be directed to Volusia County Road and Bridge at 386-822-6422. If you notice a traffic signal light out on these roads contact Volusia County Traffic Engineering at 386-736-5968.

A dead tree has fallen on the sidewalk blocking it and part of the road. Who should I contact to report the tree down?

Call Public Works during normal business hours (8:00-4:30pm) at 386-561-2100 and give the location, your name and telephone number. We will send our team to investigate and clean up the debris. After hours call Deltona Communications at 386-860-7177.

I have a missing or broken street sign and would like to request a new street sign? Who should I report it to?

Call Public Works at 386-561-2100 and give the location, your name and telephone number the name of the street and where the sign is located.

There is a dead animal in the roadway. Who should I report it to?

You should contact Waste Services at 386-574-0778 or 386-574-0723.

I have a street light out on a power pole. Who should I report it to?

You should contact your local power company either Progress Energy 1-800-700-8744 or Florida Power and Light 1-800-226-3545.

There is a street signal light out at the intersection Normandy Blvd and Elkcam Blvd. Who do I report this to?

You should call the Public Works Department at 386-561-2100.

My garbage did not get picked up. Who do I call?

Garbage pickup is done through Waste Services; they can be reached at 386-574-0778 or 386-574-0723.

How do I report a pot hole in a City road?

Please report pot holes to the Public Works Department by phone at 386-561-2100. Please provide exact details about the location including road name, direction, lane, and landmark if possible. A work order will be generated and fulfilled as soon as possible.

It’s after hours; a stop sign is down, who do I call?

Please call Deltona Communications at 386-860-7177.
