The Small Business Development Centers in Florida have the largest and most productive small business development programs in the United States. SBDC's provide training and counseling on many aspects of a business. There are programs located at eight state universities and three community colleges in Florida.

Minority Business Opportunity Centers

The Minority Business Opportunity Centers are unique programs for business assistance. These centers are state and local organizations dedicated to the planning, coordinating and delivery of available resources for the participation of the local minority business sector in the economy of the community. Export Counseling

Enterprise Florida’s Division of International Trade provides an export counseling service for Florida manufacturers and service companies whose interest in and commitment to exporting is genuine. Export counseling sessions normally take the form of one-on-one meetings at the business location or an EFI office.

International Trade Events

Enterprise Florida’s Division of International Trade offers small and medium-sized Florida businesses interested in doing business internationally the opportunity to participate in overseas trade events and marketing missions. Enterprise Florida market-site trade events are professionally planned missions that feature one-on-one, prearranged appointments with business executives interested in the specific product lines or services of participants.
