Fire Station Tours
We welcome guests into our fire stations as a great way to meet your local firefighters as well as learn how a fire station operates. The tour will focus primarily on the observation of the fire station's living quarters and fire engines. Guests will also be introduced to the many types of fire fighting and rescue equipment that is carried on a modern day fire truck. In addition to viewing the station, fire prevention and safety tips will also be discussed.
All tours are provided free of charge and are personalized for each group dependent on age/grade in school. Please remember when visiting your local fire station, that all stations are working fire stations and crews remain "in-service" during all tours. In the event that a crew is called away during your visit, we will be happy to re-schedule your tour for another time. All of our stations are able to accommodate those with physical disabilities. Please indicate any ADA needs when you schedule your tour.
If you are interested in having a fire station tour at one of our facilities, please call 386-575-6901. Tours must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
Please Note: During the month of October, our fire crews visit every Kindergarten class in our community, therefore we do not schedule fire station tours in October.
