Public Education

The Deltona Fire Department provides and operates multiple public education programs for the community.  Keeping our neighborhoods safe is a top priority of the City of Deltona and public safety is the paramount duty of the Deltona Fire Department.  DFD is dedicated to ensuring every city resident is safe at home, at work and at school.  Our programs strive to provide effective fire safety education and positive community role models.  For questions about any of the School and Youth Programs or Safety Programs listed below, please call (386) 575-6901.

The Deltona Fire Department provides fire safety training to various groups throughout the City.  Programs may be presented by on duty fire crews or representatives from the Fire Safety Division. Our members can be found at local community meetings, safety and health fairs, and special events.  This gives the DFD an opportunity to interact with the community spreading a message of safety first.

To request the Deltona Fire Department to attend your special event or teach a fire safety presentation to your group, please call 386-575-6901, for more information, Please contact our office at least two weeks prior to the date of the event.
