Deltona Parks & Recreation is always looking for businesses, groups or clubs interested in adopting parks in Deltona. Park adoption is a yearly commitment that requires picking up trash, reporting hazardous materials and submitting a monthly report to park's staff. In exchange, the city of Deltona provides signage recognizing your organization at the park and here on our website. Remember "Safety First" and check out our Adopt-A-Park safety tips. To find out which parks are available for adoption, email [email protected]

Naming Guidelines
At the July 16, 2012 City Commission Meeting, Policy #CC12-001 (City Naming Guidelines for Parks, Facilities and Buildings) was adopted. The policy explains the criteria and process for nominating a name for a park, facility or building which does not already have one. Currently there are no parks, facilities or buildings without a name. Should there be one, a nomination form must be submitted.
